Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 introduces players to a new nightshift at the familiar pizzeria where animatronic entertainers roam freely at night. Unlike its predecessor, this installment provides no doors to shield the player from these robotic creatures. Instead, players must rely on a Freddy Fazbear head mask to evade animatronics. The game also adds a flashlight feature to check dark corridors and a music box that players must wind up to keep certain animatronics at bay.

This sequel elevates the difficulty with the addition of more animatronics and limited flashlight power, requiring players to manage their resources carefully to survive the five nights.
